Hardback. Limited Edition to 100 copies. Numbered and signed. Keywords: Limited Edition - Irish Literature This is O’Connors follow up to the hugely successful "Star of the Sea", a moving historical novel set during the Irish Famine. This book picks up the story, albeit with effectively different characters, in the American Civil War. O’Connor’s growing presence as a writer is ably demonstrated by his prose and plot which interlink just as well as they did in "Star of the Sea". A super book.

The State of the Protestants of Ireland Under the Late King James's Go...
William King [Archbisop of Dublin]
Hardback. 1692. Title page continues: "In which their carriage towards him is justified, and the absolute necessity of their endeavouring to be freed from his government, and of submitting to their present majesties is demonstrated." 431pp. 4th Edition, with additions. Beautifully rebound in quarter leather on marbled boards. Title and tooling in gilt on spine. Very scarce in such beautiful condition. Original ffep is slightly chipped. An important discourse on protestants in Ireland after the Battle of the Boyne and the 1641 rebellion. King gives voice to the disaffected Protestant in an anti-Jacobite title which is of significant importance both in the short and medium term in Ireland. A wonderful copy.
