The annual Temporada (racing season), held in the 1940s and 1950s, were a time of transition in Argentine motorsport, progressing from racing circuits on rough tracks to more refined venues in Argentina's public parks. After WWII, the Temporadas were organised in the Torreon in Mar del Plata, Parque Independencia in Rosario, Palermo, Constanera and Retiro in Buenos Aires, and Sarmiento in Cordoba.
