Reviews for Specific Phobias
Bruce and Sanderson have done an excellent job in providing a useful manual for the treatment of specific phobia. Their book offers the clinican an excellent review of the theory and research on phobia, clear and instructive vignettes that illustrate how to handle this problem in therapy, and sophisticated and informative ideas on problems that arise in treatment. I found their description of clinical issues especially helpful: they present detailed guidelines for session-by-session treatment. This is a volume that can benefit all clinicians.
