The author recognizes that many problems such as mood swings, angry outbursts, depression and anxiety are often dismissed by professionals as part of the condition of autism and therefore go untreated. This book provides an overview of the wide range of behavioural problems and psychiatric disorders that may affect people with autism and Asperger syndrome and treatments that are available. It is a very comprehensive book and certainly the most informative I have found on the subject so far. I would strongly recommend this book.
