Reviews for Alterman Gambit Guide
"Alterman isn't offering a White-to-move-and-win tome, though I believe that the book's quality will give its readers lots of free points… Alterman's emphasis is pedagogical, and I believe he succeeds in this task. Certainly strong players can use this book to sharpen up their repertoires (though Alterman rightly suggests that his book should be used as a beginning and not the end of that process), but for the target audience (young players, players who haven't gone through their gambit stage, and maybe anyone to at least 1700-1800 or so) I think this is an excellent purchase. Highly recommended. 5 stars"
