M. J. Driscoll, D.Phil. (Oxon), is senior lecturer in Old Norse philology at Copenhagen University and head of the Arnamagnaean Institute. His research interests include manuscript and textual studies, particularly in the area of late pre-modern Icelandic. Svanhildur Oskarsdottir, PhD, is Head of the Manuscript Department at the Arni Magnusson Institute for Icelandic Studies in Reykjavik, Iceland
