[Report from the General Committee of Elections on the Withdrawal of the Lisburn Election Petition; with the proceedings of the Committee, and Minutes of Evidence.] Report on the withdrawal the petition of William John Knox and Moses Bullick, both of Lisburn, County Antrim. On the 11th March 1863 the petition was presented to the house against the election and return of John Dogherty Barbour, Esq. Praying that the election be declared null and void on the grounds of bribery, intimidation, undue influence, &c. On the 24th March Alexander McCann acted as a witness to a letter signed by the above persons withdrawing said application. Members appointed by Mr. Speaker’s Warrant to serve on the General Committee of Elections 1863:- Sir Francing Baring, Mr. Walpole, Mr. Herbert, Sir William Miles, Mr. Ker Seymer, Mr. Bonham-Carter. 63pp. Disbound, housed in a protective file
