including Jack Nicholson, Swifty Lazar, Jane Fonda, Shane Smith, Naomi Campbell, Larry Gagosian and Woody Allen
cavorting around his kidney-shaped pool at the Villa Dorane in Cap d'Antibes, in France. . . Everyone, it seems, came for a swim. -THE WALL STREET JOURNAL Art collector and bon vivant Johnny Pigozzi is a key member of the beau monde, and it seems every beautiful one of them has frolicked at his legendary Cap d'Antibes retreat, Villa Dorane. Take a peek inside this sun-kissed world, where Bono, Elle MacPherson, Mick Jagger and Naomi Campbell have let down their hair. Pigozzi's private archives are your ticket in. -BAL HARBOUR MAGAZINE Everyone from Gianni Agnelli to Elizabeth Taylow, Graham Greene, Mick Jagger and princess Caroline of Monaco has flocked to mingle poolside at Villa Dorane . . . The pictures [in Pool Party] aren't only stunning because of their subjects, but also because someone who so obviously loves the location - and the characters it draws - shot them. -DuJour Magazine Few parties never go out of style, but you're invited to one that's lasted for over six decades at one of the world's best-known party pools . . . Invitations to the Pigozzi pool are coveted and few, especially in recent years, making this the most reliable way to RSVP to the ultimate pool party. -METROSOURCE If you have been lucky enough to cross paths with Johnny Pigozzi on any of his adventures since the late 70s, you might have been invited to Villa Dorane . . . What a joy to have a physical record of one's most cherished memories, accessible thanks to the selective eye of a true master. -VANITY FAIR The most glamorous place to be in the south of France during Cannes isn't the red carpet, it's Jean 'Johnny' Pigozzi's swimming pool. Pool Party is a 60-year scrapbook of the well-connected art collector's summertime exploits. -ELLE
