About Nicolas Estrada
Autor Nicolas Estrada (Medellin, 1972) studied artistic jewelry at the Escola Massana in Barcelona. He has trained in many technical areas of jewelry, as well as local traditional techniques. His works can be found in galleries around the world, from Glasgow to Riga, San Francisco or Barcelona. His pieces are handmade, personal and transgressive. As editor, Nicolas has curated New Rings (Promopress Editions, 2012) and New Earrings, (Promopress Editions, 2013) Julia Wild has been since 2010 a member of the department of gemstones and jewelry design at University Trier in the gemstone city Idar-Oberstein (Germany). Her teaching focus especially in topics which touches both the field of jewelry and rituals, symbols or body and space. Bio Leo Caballero. Leon Caballero has cofounded in 2002 with Amador Bertomeu klimt02.net, a website that offers space of knowledge, information, debates and exchanges inside the context of contemporary jewelry, and in 2007 Klimt02 gallery in Barcelona, a physical space where they show the works of a group of selected international vanguard artists.
