About Bac Tran
Bac Hoai Tran was born in Vietnam and lived there until 1991. Since 1992 he has taught Vietnamese at the University of California at Berkley. Courtney Norris received a master's degree in agricultural economics from the University of California at Davis, specialising in Vietnam's rural reforms.
