Georg Stauth teaches Sociology of Islam and Islamic countries in the Faculty of Sociology, University of Bielefeld. Armando Salvatore is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences, Humboldt University, Berlin. He received his PhD in Social and Political Studies at the European University Institute, Florence.
