About Sharon Monteith
Sharon Monteith is Professor in American Studies at the University of Nottingham. She has published widely on British and American fiction. Her most recent books are Gender and the Civil Rights Movement (1999) and Advancing Sisterhood? (2000) She is currently editing Contemporary British Fiction: Interviews with Novelists and Critical Perspectives on Pat Barker.
