Alexis, her husband, and three children live in Newton, MA. Flavia Weedn is a prolific award-winning artist and illustrator. She has written and illustrated 17 books, including 10 for children's ,and her lines of greeting cards, translated into many different languages, are sent by over 18 million people each year. Flavia's original paintings can be found in the Smithsonian Institute archives, the AT&T Collection. She has received editorial coverage in Newsweek, People, Glamour, The Wall Street Journal, and TheLos Angeles Times. Her books have been included in the National Literacy Campaign.
