Noelle Harrison began writing in the early nineties when she wrote and produced three plays, notably Northern Landscapes, which were staged in London in 1990 and Dublin in 1994, and 1995. After the birth of her son in 1997 Noelle began writing fiction, winning The Meath Chronicle/ Bookwise Short Story Competition for her piece I Was There. More recently ... She has written extensively on visual art in Ireland contributing to various journals, and artists' catalogues. She also works part time as a lecturer in History of Art in Cavan College.
