Eileen Sheehan was born in Scartaglin, Co Kerry, in 1963. Her poetry is collected as Song of the Midnight Fox (Tralee, Doghouse, 2004). She is the winner of Listowel Writers' Week inaugural Poetry Slam 2004. She lives in Killarney.
