Martin Mooney was born in Belfast 1964. His collections include Grub (Belfast, Blackstaff Press, 1993),which won the 1994 Brendan Behan Memorial Award; and Rasputin and his Children (Dublin, Blackwater Press, 2000). He is currently Development Officer for the Creative Writers' Network in Northern Ireland.
