Emer Martin was born in Dublin. Her novels are Breakfast In Babylon (Dublin, Wolfhound, 1995/New York, Houghton Mifflin, 1997); and More Bread Or I.ll Appear (New York, Houghton Mifflin, 1999/London, Alison & Busby, 2000) Breakfast In Babylon won The Kerry Ingredients Book of the Year 1996 at Listowel Writers Week. She has completed a second novel which will be published in 1998. Her novella Teeth Shall Be Provided, appeared in a collection of of novellas, The Rover's Return, in 1998. She lives in New York.
