Francis Harvey was born in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh in 1925. His collections include The RFrancis akers (Dublin, The Gallery Press, 1988); In the Light on the Stones (The Gallery Press, 1978); The Boa Island Janus (Dublin, The Dedalus Press, 1996); Making Space, New & Selected Poems (The Dedalus Press, 2000). He has also written several succesful plays. His awards include The Irish Times/Yeats Summer School prize, The Guardian/WWF Prize, a Peterloo Poets prize.
