Irish Publishers - Goldsmith Press

The Goldsmith Press was founded in 1972, by Desmond Egan. Egan is a well known Irish poet who at one time also edited the literary magazine "Era". Over the years many of his own works were published by the press, including "Seeing Double" (1983), and "Famine" (1997).
Another of the presses most notable works is "By Night Unstarred" (1977), an autobiographical novel by Patrick Kavanagh which was published after his death.
