Irish Archaeology
Ireland has a great deal to offer the Archaeologist. Hidden beneath the surface of our landscape are traces of several ancient civilisations. The constant invasions which beset this country from Pre-Christian times to the Vikings and the many traces these civilisations left behind them such as dolmens or crannógs or subterranean graves, give the archaeologist an abundance of material to study. The continuing excavations which are taking place all over the country add seemingly endless clues as to how our forefathers lived their lives, and new books are constantly being published on the subject. At Kennys, we stock all of these books as well as a comprehensive stock of out of print titles.
